Telenor Shared Services Pakistan delivers transactional business services in the areas of Finance & Accounting and IT.

Position Related:

Fresh Candidates or have up to 1 years of experience in .Net Core and MVC and have passion for learning and working on .NET MVC. The resource will be responsible for development, testing and maintenance of a web-based application. This role will be a key player for development and quality assurance, working closely with architect, operations and business team.

Goals

·       Building reuseable razor views and translating business requirements (designs and wireframes) into high quality code.

·       Optimizing application for maximum performance across various web browsers.

·       Ensure timely delivery of applications / services meeting quality standards.

·       Ability to design systems & modules from scratch and ensure the best design and architectural patterns are used.

·       Conduct root cause analysis, Identify and suggest areas of improvements.

·       A strong attention to detail, unit testing and a passion for delivering high-quality code.

·       Contributing to the growth of the development team and fostering a collaborative environment.

·       Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies

Your typical day at work

·       Talk to internal and external stakeholders to discuss and clarify requirements and solutions.

·       Creating razor views and integrate them with backend services. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring the smooth functionality of web applications.

·       Develop excellent business/domain knowledge and apply it in day-to-day work.

·       Provide input for improvements to both the components and the solution.

·       Raise flag where delays are encountered, or risk is identified.

·       Work proactively, following self-driven approach.

·       Ensure Telenor Way and Values are followed in day-to-day work

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

Bachelors/Masters in IT/Computer Science

Work experience:  

·       Up to 1 year of professional experience in Web Development using ASP .Net Core MVC.

·       Up to 1 year’s In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in C# .Net, ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core MVC and SQL skills.

a.       Microsoft ASP. NET Core framework 8.0+ is a plus

b.       Microsoft ASP. NET framework 4.6+

c.        Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core

·       Knowledge of .Net MVC code and file structure, areas and routing.

·       Experience with Razor View Engine, understanding of Html Helpers and Page Layout Templates or Master Pages.

·       Experience developing solutions involving relational database technologies on SQL Server, stored procedure programming experience using Transact SQL.

·       Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration.

·       Detailed knowledge of general web concepts: HTTP, CORS, Security Headers and Browser Caching.

·       Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

·       Knowledge/Experience with Azure Application Insights will be a plus.

·       Knowledge/Experience with Optimizely CMS will be a plus.

·       Knowledge/Experience working in CI/CD environment. Understanding of Azure DevOps will be a plus.

·       Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
