Position Related
This role is responsible for carrying out Transformation Projects and driving finance processes improvements for different geographies and processes. This will also include vendor management and change management.
Goals
• Continuously operate and maintain OCI network and security controls
• Ensure timely patching and remediation of vulnerabilities
• Prevent recurrence of critical and high risk security findings
• Execute and maintain security SOPs in day to day operations
• Keep OCI environments audit ready and compliant at all times
• Act as the single long term owner of OCI security operations
Your Typical day at work
• Review of OCI security dashboards and vulnerability reports (e.g., Cloud Guard, logs, alerts)
• Assess new or recurring security findings and prioritize remediation actions
• Validate patch levels and plan or execute required patching activities
• Implement and verify network and security configuration changes in OCI
• Follow and update security SOPs and operational runbooks as needed
• Coordinate remediation actions with platform, application, and operations teams
• Respond to security queries, incidents, or audit evidence requests
• Reviewing upcoming changes or deployments for security and operational impact
• Document actions taken, risks identified, and controls validated
• Proactively identify improvement opportunities to strengthen OCI security posture
• Process, driving process standardization across the Group
• Understanding the needs of Internal and External stakeholders
• Creating and maintaining positive business relationship with business stakeholders
• Liaise with vendor’s consulting team and get the best required outcomes
• Improving key performance metrics to enhance performance
• Managing ad hoc projects and tasks as and when required

Eligibility Criteria
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant cloud or security certifications (preferred but not mandatory), such as:
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certifications
• Cloud Security or Network Security certifications
• Equivalent practical experience in cloud network and security operations may be considered in lieu of formal higher education
Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas:
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written both)
• Advanced OCI network and security architecture design and operations
• Deep expertise in OCI security services (IAM, Cloud Guard, Vault/KMS, WAF, logging, observability)
• Advanced cloud network security controls (VCNs, NSGs, DRGs, firewalls, routing, segmentation)
• Provision and manage OCI services including Compute, Storage, Networking, and IAM.
• Deep knowledge of OCI networking (VCN, FastConnect, VPN) and database technologies (RAC, Data Guard, Autonomous DB)
• Design complex network topologies (hub-and-spoke), cross-region disaster recovery, and secure OCI architectures.
• Handling Fusion ERP OCI related activities and knowledge of tools like OAC, OIC,ATP and ADW etc.
• End to end vulnerability management, including threat based prioritization and remediation tracking
• Advanced patch management strategy across OCI and dependent platform components
• Security monitoring, incident handling, and post incident remediation in cloud environments
• Authoring, governing, and continuously improving security SOPs and operational runbooks
• Audit ready operations, including evidence management and control validation
• Secure by design advisory support for architecture, integrations, and platform changes
• Strong understanding of shared responsibility models in cloud security
• Ability to translate security risks into operational and governance level actions
• Ready to accept challenges and meet stringent deadlines
• Problem Solving and analytical abilities
• Experienced of managing multiple stakeholders across multiple geographical locations
